FX30 Noise Gate
First-issue FX30 Noise Gate with 'foam' treadle,
with a sticker implying it was made in the 52nd week of 1982Based on DOD's original-series Noise Gate/230, the FX30 Noise Gate was one of the original ten DOD FX-series pedals that debuted in 1982. Unlike the Boss NF-1, which used a single 741-type op amp, the noise gate portion of the FX30's circuit used a LM358N bipolar op amp. The FX30 remained in production until it was replaced by the FX30B in mid-1985.
