FX20C Stereo Phaser

The FX20C Stereo Phaser was apparently introduced in mid-late 1998, replacing the FX20B Stereo Phaser in DOD's lineup. Unlike the FX20B, the FX20C features two instead of three dual OTA chips, so it is probably only a four-stage phaser. Although the FX22 Vibro-Thang can also be used as a phaser, the FX20C was retained when production shifted to China with the VFX series.

- From the manual: "The FX20C is an update on the classic phaser design. The FX20C is a stereo phaser with two completely separate outputs. This allows you to send the outputs to two separate amplifiers, giving you a tremendous stereo spread. SPEED, DEPTH, and REGENERATION knobs give you serious control over the sound of the FX20C."
The manual continues by stating "the FX20C should be operated in front of an amplifier, but it can be used in an effects loop as well." - Technical info:
