LED Foot Switch 800
LED Foot Switch 800, from the mid- or late 1980sThe DOD LED Foot Switch 800 is a relatively simple external footswitch useful for switching between amp channels or for switching rack effects on/off. Its circuitry consists of a Carling DPDT switch and a 4.7 kOhm resistor wired in series between the LED and one pole of the switch, with a 9V battery required to power the LED. The LED Foot Switch 800 appears to have been introduced in 1987 but had apparently been discontinued before the 1991 FX Pedals Catalog was printed.
- Controls: DPDT switch and 1/4" jack
- From the 1987 DOD FX Products Catalog: "Useful for switching functions on or entire signal processing units on and off, the 800 is a foot switch with an LED 'On' indicator."
