America's Pedal - History

This page will serve as an index for historical documentation of DOD Electronics. It began in July 2013 with scans of two interviews with DOD engineer Jason Lamb, who created the FX69 Grunge pedal, among many others.

• Harmony-Central's Winter NAMM '96 coverage included a very brief blurb with "the designer amd creator of the five new DOD stomp boxes", although the piece never mentions Jason Lamb by name.

• Pro Talk by Lisa Sharken: DOD's Jason Lamb Stomping on Success (Guitar, May 1997; p. 175)
  Jason Lamb was the engineer responsible for creating at least 16 of DOD's new pedals in the 1990s.
  Note that this article contains at least one typo (the FX32 won an award in 1986?).

  Includes quotes from DOD's Jason Lamb, among other distinguished panelists (including D.O.D. himself)
